The Elflein Transport & Logistics GmbH from Bamberg in Franconia has appointed Michael Vercoulen as the new Managing Director for the Logistics division. With this appointment, the company’s management is now fully staffed. Alongside Vercoulen, Stefanie Kotschenreuther for Sales & Marketing and Hans-Joachim Brockmeyer for Transport & Operations are part of the leadership team.
Vercoulen brings extensive experience from the logistics industry. Prior to his new role, he was Director Sales at GEODIS, where he was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of sales approaches in the contract logistics sector. Additionally, he led WM GROUP GmbH as Managing Director for over three years, overseeing more than 400 employees and various business strategies.
The management has set itself the goal of developing comprehensive solutions along the entire supply chain of its customers. This includes areas from conception to operational implementation. The responsible parties emphasize that they want to further develop their services in order to provide customers with more efficient and flexible support.
In his new role, Vercoulen will lead and strategically develop the entire logistics area. The company’s management expressed positive sentiments about the collaboration and welcomed Vercoulen to his new position.
