May 29, 2026 at 1:38 PMHave you already got your jersey for the Football World Cup? TopTex, a European textile distribution specialist, is now relying on the Speed WMS warehouse management system from BK Systèmes to manage its logistics operations in France and Belgium. In light of increasing shipping volumes, the company has structured its organization to ensure the security of deliveries while maintaining high throughput rates.
Efficient logistics for high volumes
TopTex operates logistics centers in France and Belgium with a total area of over 58,000 m². This infrastructure enables the company to consolidate inventories, optimize processes, and support growth, which is projected to exceed EUR 276 million in revenue by 2025. Up to 25,000 order lines can be processed daily, and nearly 1.8 million packages were shipped last year.
The efficiency of operations extends from the arrival of international containers to delivery. The warehouses are equipped with mechanized, connected devices, including conveyor belts and sorting systems, which are controlled by Speed WMS. This allows for high throughput rates to be maintained while ensuring the security of the goods flows.
“The ability of Speed WMS to manage large goods flows and seamlessly integrate with our mechanized systems is a key advantage in meeting our delivery commitments,” explains Marianne Martinez Matabos, Head of the WMS/WCS/TMS division at TopTex.
Integration of WMS into business processes
Speed WMS manages all logistics operations, starting from goods receipt to handover to transport service providers. The system coordinates the various steps of order preparation and allows for automatic adjustment of package sizes to the items to be shipped through a dynamic pre-packaging function. This improves space utilization and reduces handling.
The management of shipping and loading is also integrated into Speed WMS, ensuring complete traceability of goods flows up to the carriers. The standard interfaces to market-standard transport management tools enhance the reliability of deliveries and simplify processes at the loading area.
Sustainable performance improvement in growth phases
The implementation of Speed WMS has enabled TopTex to increase operational efficiency and support growth. The company has seen improved productivity, better space utilization, and enhanced traceability of goods flows, particularly in tracking transport packages.
These developments contribute to TopTex maintaining a high service standard, with short delivery times and increased reliability of shipments, despite continuously rising processing volumes. “Speed WMS has helped us structure our logistics and take a step forward in terms of volumes,” says Martinez Matabos.
TopTex continues to invest in logistics and IT infrastructures to promote growth. Several projects are currently in planning, including the migration to version V8 of Speed WMS. “We are further developing our logistics tool in collaboration with BK Systèmes,” concludes Martinez Matabos.
