This measure is part of a strategic expansion of activities in the Life Sciences and healthcare sector. The company will offer a variety of services, including warehousing, inventory management, order picking, and packaging. This is intended to strengthen DHL’s position as a provider of GxP-compliant logistics solutions in healthcare, as the company reports.
The acquisition of the Sanofi center is a step in DHL’s ongoing investments in the French healthcare system. According to the company, it brings experience in cold chain management for vaccines and utilizes logistics technologies to ensure standards in pharmaceutical distribution. These measures align with DHL’s long-term goal of establishing France as a key hub in the global healthcare logistics network.
