May 26, 2026 at 11:13 AMYusen Logistics has announced a partnership with cargo.one, aiming to enhance the efficiency of its global air freight pricing and procurement activities. The collaboration involves the implementation of cargo.one’s AI-powered operating system, which will be used for various functions including rate procurement and management, quote generation, and bookings. This measure is intended to reduce the complexity of air freight procurement and standardize processes within the company, as stated by Yusen Logistics.
Optimization of air freight procurement
The cargo.one platform will be deployed in over 100 branches of Yusen Logistics worldwide. It enables instant quoting based on manufacturer information, which is expected to lead to faster delivery times and improved global connectivity. By utilizing this technology, Yusen Logistics teams can compare various rates—including live, static, contract, and consolidation rates—as well as local transport charges within a single system. This is intended to support more accurate pricing and data-driven decision-making.
The AI-driven platform is expected to not only enhance efficiency but also create a solid data foundation for future innovations in the field of artificial intelligence. Additionally, integration with Yusen Logistics‘ Transport Management System (TMS) is planned.
