Jul 10, 2026 at 1:08 PMNatPower Marine has announced a strategic acquisition of the international charging network Aqua SuperPower. This decision was revealed during the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge and aims to accelerate the electrification of ports and marinas worldwide, as stated by the company. Aqua SuperPower, a provider of maritime electrification technologies, operates a network of electric charging stations for boats and yachts in Europe.
The network spans several markets and includes more than 80 locations in Europe and North America. Among the ports and marinas that are part of this network are the French and Italian Riviera, Venice, Trieste, Genoa, Lake Maggiore, Lake Geneva, the Port of Barcelona, as well as various locations along the British south coast. In North America, the network includes the San Francisco Bay, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, and Lake Michigan.
According to NatPower Marine, the acquisition of Aqua SuperPower allows it to integrate existing expertise and operational capabilities into its own platform. The goal is to expand the electrification model not only in recreational boating but also in major commercial ports and maritime hubs.
