Air China Cargo increases A350F order
May 26, 2026 at 9:28 AMCargoTech and its members, including Aerios, Wiremind Cargo, Rotate, and CargoAi, have made significant progress in the first quarter of 2026. In the first three months, new contracts were signed, teams expanded, and product developments advanced, while simultaneously seizing opportunities arising from the current uncertainty.
Cédric Millet (photo), President of CargoTech, reports: “In our product portfolio, we have signed more than ten new contracts with various airlines, signaling strong confidence in the year 2026.” He adds that valuable insights and feedback from customers form the basis for new products that are set to be launched throughout the year.
Focus on growth and innovation
Aerios was able to acquire six new customers in the first quarter, including Berry Aviation, which has already gone live with the new app. This app has integrated the commercial price transparency module in collaboration with CargoAi to help users understand the competitive landscape and identify charter opportunities. Additionally, Aerios worked with Wiremind Cargo to integrate Skypallet into the Aerios solution.
Rotate implemented its sales control solutions at American Airlines and welcomed new customers in both the freight forwarder and airline sectors. Ryan Keyrouse, CEO of Rotate, explains: “We are growing at all levels. This is primarily due to the increasing uncertainty in the world, which underscores the importance of agile and data-driven decisions.”
Wiremind Cargo has begun implementing the CargoStack Optimiser, which is set to be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year. The company has also integrated new features into its products, including a new design for the price management module.
CargoAi has expanded its intelligence layer across the air freight system, offering CargoCoPilot, a solution that revolutionizes the way freight forwarders operate by eliminating email-driven workflows.
Technological developments and challenges
The air freight industry is facing an increase in new technology providers addressing known vulnerabilities. At the same time, the focus remains on AI, which offers an almost unlimited range of applications in the air freight industry. CargoTech has identified the most relevant use cases to enhance efficiency.
Millet emphasizes: “While the growing interest from start-ups in eliminating inefficiencies in the air freight supply chain through digitization is commendable, CargoTech aims to avoid further fragmentation in an already complex interplay of various players.” The members of CargoTech focus on simple solutions for customers while consolidating practical experiences and resources in the background.
In light of current geopolitical uncertainties, such as the conflict between the USA and Iran, companies are showing increased interest in digital solutions that can unlock revenue and enhance operational efficiency. Millet highlights that CargoTech customers benefit from a deep understanding of their business needs: “We understand our customers‘ priorities in times of disruption and can proactively offer relevant solutions.”
For the upcoming quarter, Rotate expects that high fuel prices could lead to a streamlining of capacities among airlines. Wiremind Cargo is focusing on its pricing and allocation systems, which are crucial for one of the most important implementation projects. Cédric Millet concludes by stating that agility and adaptability are increasingly determined by access to real-time data.
