Henrik Fritz Poulsen has been appointed Senior Vice President Road DACH, taking over from Ralf Többe, who is leaving the company to pursue his career outside of DSV. Poulsen was previously Managing Director of DSV Road Denmark.
The management change is part of DSV’s strategic direction to further expand the Road business in Germany. Following the successful first phase of integrating Schenker’s Road activities, the next phase for DSV Road Germany is now beginning. This phase will focus on consolidation, operational optimization, and the implementation of synergies.
New Focus on Growth and Customer Orientation
Magnus Malmqvist, CEO of DSV Road Europe, commented on Poulsen’s appointment, emphasizing his comprehensive understanding of the DSV organization and his extensive leadership experience. These qualifications will enable him to shape the next development and growth phase in Germany. Poulsen himself expressed his enthusiasm for the new challenge and highlighted the importance of collaborating with his team in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to drive growth in this important market.

Ralf Többe, who led the German organization during the first integration phase, will oversee a structured handover process to ensure continuity for customers, employees, and partners. Malmqvist acknowledged Többe’s contribution to the successful integration of Schenker’s activities and thanked him for his tireless commitment. Többe himself expressed pride in the achievements and now hands over responsibility to Poulsen, whom he believes is in good hands.
