STRABAG modernizes railway line 201 in Poland
Jun 4, 2026 at 10:41 AMThe arrival of the first Brazilian truck driver in Poland is imminent. According to Krystian Luczak, a specialist in transport cost analysis at Logistic – Evex, this will be a significant step for international cooperation in the transport sector. Luczak emphasizes that many Europeans know little about the Brazilian transport market, but are impressed by the professionalism and skills of Brazilian drivers.
Advantages of Brazilian drivers
According to Luczak, Brazil not only offers experienced drivers but also a well-developed system for digital management and document verification. This contributes to a transparent and reliable recruitment process, which is crucial for establishing long-term international cooperation. Many Brazilian drivers have also gained extensive experience in the Mercosur market, where they transport food over long distances and work in challenging transport environments. These experiences require discipline, professionalism, and a high level of attention to detail.
Another advantage is that many Brazilian drivers are already familiar with modern truck brands such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, and DAF. This knowledge could help them adapt more quickly to the demands of the European market. Luczak emphasizes that the drivers are also accustomed to driving in large metropolitan areas and complex road networks, which could benefit them in Europe.
Responsibility as an employer
Luczak states that recruiting Brazilian drivers is not just a business decision but also carries a human responsibility. The move from Brazil to Europe is one of the biggest decisions of their lives for many, as they leave their families and friends behind. Therefore, it is important for the company to convey a sense of belonging and support to the new employees from the very beginning.
He sees Brazil not only as a source of drivers but as a long-term partner. The arrival of the first Brazilian driver, Josias, is a personal milestone for him and a testament that seemingly impossible things can become reality when trust and collaboration are prioritized.
Luczak is optimistic that Brazilian drivers will play an increasingly important role in European transport. The company plans to send over 2,000 drivers from Brazil to Europe in the next twelve months, underscoring Logistic – Evex’s ambitions to build a bridge between Brazil and Europe.
