Nippon Express Holdings, Inc. has announced the launch of the „Global Charter Desk,“ a central point of contact for managing air freight charter requests. This initiative aims to meet the growing demands for air freight transport from various industries worldwide.
Growing demand for air freight charters
In recent years, geopolitical risks and changes in the supply chain landscape have led to an increase in global demand for air freight charter flights. Particularly in time-sensitive sectors such as the automotive industry, semiconductor manufacturing, and aviation, securing reliable capacities and responding quickly to changing conditions is crucial. The Global Charter Desk has been established to meet these demands and facilitate centralized management of air freight requests.
Functions of the Global Charter Desk
The Global Charter Desk offers round-the-clock support and utilizes a „Follow-the-Sun“ model, enabling efficient handling of urgent charter requests.
