Jul 8, 2026 at 12:57 PMThe CMA CGM Group has announced that Patrick Moebel will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CEVA Logistics effective July 1, 2026. Moebel brings over 30 years of leadership experience in transportation and global supply chains. Most recently, he served as President of FedEx Logistics. His appointment comes at a crucial time for CEVA Logistics, which is entering a new phase of development following the successful integration of Bolloré Logistics and its rise to become one of the leading logistics providers worldwide.
In this new phase, CEVA Logistics will expand its capabilities in the North American market, strengthen end-to-end logistics solutions, and drive sustainable growth in the interest of its customers. Patrick Moebel will work closely with the existing leadership team of CEVA Logistics to further solidify the strategic and operational synergies between the logistics, shipping, and air freight sectors of the CMA CGM Group.
Friedberg takes on transformation at CMA CGM Group
Mathieu Friedberg, who has served as CEO of CEVA Logistics for the past six years, will now be responsible as Executive Vice President for Transformation within the CMA CGM Group. In his previous role, Friedberg led the transformation of the company, managed the integration of several strategic acquisitions, and supported CEVA Logistics‘ rise to become the fourth largest logistics provider in the world. In his new role, he will focus on topics such as artificial intelligence, IT, cybersecurity, as well as the ZEBOX and CMA Conseil initiatives.
