Jun 1, 2026 at 12:18 PMThe Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (ADMA) and Bahrain Polytechnic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to intensify collaboration in the maritime sector. The agreement aims to promote academic and applied research as well as training in the fields of maritime transport and new technologies, as stated by the companies.
The MoU was signed on June 1, 2026, in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Yasser Al Wahedi, President of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, and Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, Managing Director of Bahrain Polytechnic, were present at the signing, accompanied by representatives from both institutions.
Joint initiatives
The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration in various areas: According to the companies, this includes the development and implementation of training programs and courses. Additionally, initiatives for training staff as well as organizing lectures, workshops, events, and conferences are part of the cooperation plan.
