The decision to sell the aircraft with manufacturer serial number 33768 reflects Titan’s approach to monetizing high-quality assets through transactions with established industry players. Eamonn Forbes, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Titan Asset Management Ireland Limited, emphasized that the sale demonstrates the company’s disciplined approach to portfolio management.
Demand for the Boeing 767 freighter platform remains strong, according to Andy Lawrence, President of Cargo Aircraft Management. He stated that operators are seeking proven and reliable aircraft that can support a variety of cargo missions. With this acquisition, CAM reaffirms its position in the freight leasing market and responds to the evolving needs of the global air freight market.
Strategic importance of the transaction
Titan Aviation Leasing offers dry leasing solutions for airlines worldwide. Titan’s fleet supports various customers, including international flag carriers, express providers, and e-commerce service providers. The company has extensive expertise in air freight and provides innovative asset management solutions to enable customers to quickly scale up their aviation operations.
Bain Capital, a leading private investment firm, is also involved in the transaction. The firm invests in various sectors, including private equity and real assets, and brings extensive industry experience to the partnership.
Cargo Aircraft Management, as a subsidiary of the Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), is a key component of ATSG’s integrated platform, offering cargo aircraft and leasing solutions. CAM is a leader in the market for medium-sized cargo aircraft and supports air freight networks in the e-commerce and express sectors.
