Challenges of shore power supply
Feb 27, 2026 at 11:54 AMThe Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has received Halal logistics certification in Indonesia. This measure, which has been in effect since February 2026, aims to enhance the company’s logistics solutions for the country’s Halal economy and assist businesses in meeting the requirements for halal-compliant products, as reported by the company.
According to its own statements, the Halal certification is a step for FedEx to meet the increasing demands of the Indonesian Halal economy. Companies in Indonesia are increasingly seeking assurance that Halal integrity is maintained throughout the distribution process. FedEx Indonesia has therefore fully adapted its logistics processes to comply with Indonesian Halal regulations, particularly Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance (JPH) and the associated provisions, as stated by the company.
