Effective December 1, the freight forwarding company Robert Kukla has established Kukla Hellas Shared Services in Greece, based in Thessaloniki. For the Munich-based company, this is already the eleventh branch and the first location dedicated solely to administrative purposes. Kukla Hellas Shared Services will act as a service provider for the entire group, handling the verification and booking of freight invoices from trucking companies and shipping lines.

With the establishment of Kukla Hellas Shared Services, we will further improve in this regard,” explains Olaf Böhm, Managing Director of Robert Kukla GmbH.
Kukla Hellas Shared Services started in Thessaloniki with four employees and is led by Georgios Vagiopoulos. The 48-year-old Greek spent the first 20 years of his life in Munich. After training as a freight forwarding merchant, he worked for about 20 years for various logistics service providers in Greece before moving to the Kukla Group in Munich in 2017. There, he managed various special projects and reported directly to the management.

Robert Kukla GmbH International Freight Forwarding specializes in multimodal and intermodal transport, tank transport, and trucking worldwide, and has extensive experience in warehouse logistics. The Munich logistics service provider has branches in Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Milan, Breda, Stockholm, Bilbao, Lisbon, London, and Thessaloniki. Kukla has been in existence since 1941, operates worldwide with a dense network of powerful partners, and employs around 200 people at all locations.
