Cargostore appoints Andrew Moll as COO
May 26, 2026 at 1:53 PMThe collaboration between Avric Aviation LLC, an aircraft charter broker based in Dubai (UAE), and Silk Way Airlines from Baku (Azerbaijan) has resulted in the successful transport of a complex oversized air cargo. The transport took place between Incheon International Airport (ICN) near the South Korean capital Seoul and Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Qatar, using an Ilyushin IL-76TD. The delivery consisted of a 34-ton Lean Solution Cooler, measuring 16.27 meters in length, intended for a fertilizer plant in Doha. The timely arrival of the equipment was crucial to avoid operational disruptions.
Complex Logistics and Precise Planning
The transport posed high demands on logistics and required comprehensive engineering assessments as well as precise load planning. The close collaboration among the various stakeholders was essential for the success of the project. The teams from Avric Aviation and Silk Way Airlines developed a tailored support framework that enabled the safe transport of the oversized cargo on the IL-76TD while optimizing operating costs.
The project highlights the importance of creative engineering, detailed planning, and effective collaboration. The successful implementation demonstrates how coordinated efforts and technical expertise can overcome complex logistical challenges.
