May 28, 2026 at 10:01 AMThe Group Concorde has announced the strategic commercial representation of Avianca Cargo in five international markets: the UAE, the Philippines, New Zealand, Cambodia, and Australia. This partnership represents another step in the company’s global expansion and aims to strengthen market connections and commercial support in key trade routes.
In this role, the Indian GSSA will represent the commercial interests of the South American cargo airline in the mentioned regions and will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking access to one of the most comprehensive cargo networks in the Americas. The company will act as a link between shippers, freight forwarders, and logistics operators in these markets and Avianca Cargo’s extensive route network. This enables direct access to key trade flows in North, Central, and South America.
Avianca Cargo currently serves more than 70 destinations in the Americas, operates over 220 weekly cargo flights, and utilizes the bellyhold capacity of more than 1,600 weekly passenger flights. This breadth of the network positions Avianca Cargo as a key player for connecting markets in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Southeast Asia, which seek reliable and frequent access to this region. Through the representation of Group Concorde, customers in the five markets will gain improved access to one of the most dynamic air cargo networks in the hemisphere.
Ralph van Eijk, Chief Airline and Marketing Officer of Group Concorde, commented on the partnership: „We are excited to work with Avianca Cargo in these five strategic markets. This collaboration reflects the confidence placed in the global capabilities and commercial strength of Group Concorde. We look forward to building a successful and long-term partnership while creating enhanced opportunities for customers in the region.“
