Land/Air: Turtles push towards Hong Kong
Jul 13, 2026 at 9:41 AMECS Group, in collaboration with the airline CORSAIR and the pharmaceutical logistics specialist Healthc’Air, has developed a comprehensive management system for pharmaceutical transport. The 20-week project aims to implement a high-quality and audit-ready system that will strengthen CORSAIR’s competitiveness in the field of pharmaceutical freight.
Comprehensive solution for pharmaceutical transport
The GSSA Aero Cargo International France, a subsidiary of ECS Group and a partner of CORSAIR for 40 years, has worked with Healthc’Air to develop an end-to-end solution for managing pharmaceutical shipments. The process began with a detailed risk analysis of transport routes to identify and minimize deviations in the areas of offering, booking, and ground handling. The goal is to create a service that meets the highest quality standards.
Guillaume Tourneret, Managing Director of Aero Cargo International in France, emphasizes the strategic importance of pharmaceutical freight for CORSAIR:
“Pharmaceutical transport already accounts for over 4% of the annual freight volume and doubles for exports to the French overseas network. Our strategy aims to convert this potential into revenue by maximizing utilization and enhancing operational control.”
Focus on flexibility and compliance
The initiative is central to CORSAIR’s ability to remain competitive in a rapidly changing market. Pharmaceutical transport requires partners who can respond flexibly to demands, especially in times of crisis when shipments must be quickly switched from sea to air freight. CORSAIR plans to expand into valuable segments such as sensitive health deliveries, including oncology treatments and human organs.
As part of the 20-week rollout plan, three main pillars are being pursued: evaluating the existing network and preparing an overview of stations and fleet capacities, connecting theory and practice through the creation of an operational database, and implementing processes during the product launch.
Yulia Celetaria, Global Director Pharma at Healthc’Air, explains the start of the project:
“We began by training the commercial team in the pharmaceutical sector and then held discussions to better understand the daily operations and communication with CORSAIR. After full implementation, CORSAIR will have a robust system that strengthens competitiveness in the long term.”
