Welcome Airport Services opens Cargo 3 in Warsaw
May 26, 2026 at 10:33 AMDACHSER Austria has restructured its Turkey operations through the „Vienna Hub“ in Himberg, aiming to create a hub for transport between Austria and Turkey. According to the company, shipments from Northern and Central Europe will be consolidated in Himberg and connected to Turkey via established line services.
Weekly line service between Vienna and Istanbul
The new connection provides for a weekly line service between Vienna and Istanbul, operated in both directions. This measure is part of DACHSER’s European land transport network, which has directly integrated Turkey for several years. By consolidating transports and centralizing management, the processes along the entire transport chain are intended to be standardized and made transparent.
„With the Vienna HUB, we are creating a structured connection between Austria and Turkey that enables our customers reliable and predictable processes.“
- Michael Rauhofer, Managing Director DACHSER Austria
