Apr 14, 2026 at 7:35 AMCoreMarine and Jumbo Offshore have received a contract for an installation and connection project in the Argentine Golfo San Matías. The order includes the transport and installation of Soft-Yoke (SSY) mooring systems as well as the connection of the FLNG vessels „Hilli Episeyo“ and „MKII.“ This award represents an important step for both companies and is considered crucial for the development of the Argentine gas sector, which aims to expand its export capacities, as stated by Jumbo Offshore. The contract was awarded by Southern Energy S.A. (SESA) and is supported by an international consortium that includes Pan American Energy, YPF, Pampa Energía, Harbour Energy, and Golar LNG.
Comprehensive project implementation
CoreMarine and Jumbo Offshore plan to execute the project through an integrated execution model that encompasses various aspects such as project management, engineering, transport, as well as offshore installations and connections. CoreMarine will act as the main contractor and will assign Jumbo Offshore the transport and installation of the SSY mooring system, which also includes heavy lifting and piling work.
