Feb 2, 2026 at 11:03 AMZencargo has appointed Gary Jeffreys as Senior Vice President for the EMEA region. This decision marks a strategic step for the company, which is focusing on more complex and enterprise-wide supply chains. Jeffreys brings over 20 years of experience in leadership positions within the logistics sector, most recently serving as Managing Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland at A.P. Moller – Maersk. In his new role, he will lead the regional strategy in EMEA, deepen relationships with customer-side executives, and drive the use of Zencargo’s technology in complex freight and supply chain operations.
Jeffreys‘ appointment reflects the growing demand from corporate clients for a platform approach supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI). Richard Fattal, CEO and co-founder of Zencargo, commented on Jeffreys‘ decision to join the company: „Gary’s decision to come to Zencargo is a testament to what we have built. We are seeing a clear shift among corporate clients who are dissatisfied with fragmented providers and disconnected tools – they want intelligence that is directly integrated into execution.“
The logistics industry continues to face ongoing disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Brexit, and geopolitical challenges, including instability in the Red Sea. However, Jeffreys emphasizes that the most pressing challenges for supply chain leaders today are operational in nature. „Disruptions are now the norm,“ he said. „The biggest pain points for customers are managing exceptions, ensuring real-time transparency, and reducing handoff points as well as manual processes in their supply chains. Technology, not just capacity, will be the true differentiator in the future.“
Zencargo has recently introduced product updates, including the implementation of Luca AI, an intelligence layer that enhances visibility and provides predictive insights. The EMEA region remains central to the company’s growth ambitions, as strong demand for logistics is expected in parts of the region.
