Feb 2, 2026 at 10:40 AMGLS France, the French subsidiary of one of the largest European providers of shipping, transport, and parcel delivery, has appointed Youssef Tagemouati as the new Managing Director. Tagemouati, who has extensive experience in the technology and logistics sectors, aims to establish GLS France as the preferred logistics partner for e-commerce in France. He intends to combine operational excellence with technological innovations.
Tagemouati is an experienced entrepreneur and expert in digital transformation. He co-founded the startup Tousfacteurs in 2015, which specializes in the digitization of the last mile. This company was acquired by GLS France in 2022. Since then, Tagemouati has significantly contributed to the digital and operational transformation of GLS France. Initially serving as Director of Transformation from December 2024 and later as Chief Financial Officer from May 2025, he has repositioned the finance department as a strategic business partner and established a performance-oriented corporate culture.
Strategic Direction and Innovation Focus
In his new role as Managing Director, Tagemouati plans to continue the comprehensive transformation of the company to achieve operational excellence, expand the partner ecosystem, and drive innovations to enhance customer experience.
