Feb 2, 2026 at 11:15 AMAir Charter Service has successfully organized the transport of over 3 tons of Triceratops bones needed for the opening of a new natural history museum in Abu Dhabi. The transport was coordinated by the company’s Time Critical department and involved complex logistics to ensure the fossils arrived at their destination on time.
Robert Alleman, CEO of the Time Critical team at Air Charter Service, stated that the company received a call from a client who required a comprehensive solution for transporting the fossils. These originated from Denver and needed to arrive in time for the museum’s opening in Abu Dhabi. Within an hour, the team was able to develop a suitable transport solution that included two separate flights to Abu Dhabi – one via Chicago and the other via London Heathrow Airport.
Special trucks with lift gates were organized for the transport of the crates, which transported the fossils from Denver to the airport. Throughout the transport, the team monitored the shipments to ensure everything went smoothly. Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, representatives from the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism ensured that the fossils were delivered to the designated location on time.
The natural history museum in Abu Dhabi, which opened at the end of November last year, is the largest facility of its kind in the Middle East and will showcase several complete Triceratops skeletons.
