Sustainability: Pressure decreases, commitment grows
Jun 25, 2026 at 8:53 AMX2 (UK) Ltd, a 4PL transport operator based in Leicestershire, has announced an acquisition by the technology-oriented logistics group Northstarr. This development occurs in a context where the company has experienced significant growth since the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Northstarr. With the integration into the company, which also includes the pallet network Pallet-Track, X2 plans to further expand in both the national and international markets.
The acquisition places X2 in a group of four companies, which also includes Pallet-Track, Sqrrl Solutions, a provider of warehousing, and Truckcom, a cloud-based transport management service. This assembly is intended to address the growing demand for intelligent, data-driven, and flexible solutions in the logistics industry, according to company statements.
Ian Cramb, Managing Director of X2, states that his original plan was based on long-term growth for the company before it was brought to market. After discussions with Stuart Godman, the CEO of the Northstarr Group, it became clear that there is a strategic alignment that allows for further growth through access to enhanced infrastructure and expertise.
