Turkish Cargo has launched a new product for the automotive industry, named TK AUTO. The presentation took place during the Air Cargo China exhibition. TK AUTO has been specifically developed to meet the sensitive and time-critical transport requirements of the automotive sector. The product is divided into two segments: AUTO PART and AUTO FINISHED, each offering different logistical solutions.
Flexible transport solutions for the automotive industry
The TK AUTO PART segment is aimed at the fast and reliable transportation of critical automotive components needed in both production and the aftermarket. This includes, among others, engine and transmission components, brake systems, airbags, and equipment for electric vehicles. As part of this service, shipments are handled with prioritized loading procedures to ensure uninterrupted continuity of production processes.
In contrast, the TK AUTO FINISHED segment is designed for the transport of motorized passenger cars, electric vehicles, prototypes, test vehicles, as well as luxury and premium vehicles. Special vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, and Sea-Doos also fall under this service. TK AUTO FINISHED offers support beyond standard processes through specialized teams, improved workflows, and tailored transport solutions for vehicles.
Customized workflows and digital processes
Before each transport, specific loading plans are created tailored to the respective vehicle type. Certified loadmaster teams take responsibility for loading, securing, and unloading the vehicles on-site to ensure that the operational plan is implemented correctly. All processes are carried out with consideration of sensitive handling techniques and operational control procedures.
For high-value automobiles, the LUXE service offers secure storage in specially secured areas of the SMARTIST terminal in Istanbul. Important steps in the operational process are documented through photographic evidence. Supported by prioritized loading applications within the speed-oriented services, this solution provides additional security and transparency in vehicle transport, which requires special care.
Reservations for the shipment of automotive spare parts can be easily made through the TK GO platform and digital sales channels. For the transport of finished vehicles, pre-booking processes are accelerated through customized volume calculations.

While our reservation processes are supported by digital integration, our on-site operations are carried out by specialized teams and defined procedures. With this special structure of TK AUTO, we not only meet the speed requirements of the automotive industry but also ensure production continuity and greater transparency in transport processes.”
