The appointments involve Jim Monkmeyer (photo), Adam Ruff, and Dave Moss, who will each serve in key positions within the company.
New leadership structure to strengthen the supply chain
Monkmeyer, who previously served as President of Transportation in North America, has been appointed Global Head of LLP & Supply Chain Orchestration. In this role, he will be responsible for strategic direction, technology, and implementation across various regions and functions. Andries Retief, Chief Development Officer of DHL Supply Chain, emphasizes the importance of orchestration in an increasingly global and interconnected business environment. Monkmeyer brings extensive experience from his previous role at England Logistics, Inc. and is regarded as an expert in third-party logistics and supply chain management.
Ruff, who previously served as Vice President of Strategy, Product Development, and M&A, takes on the role of President of Transportation in North America. Mark Kunar, CEO of DHL Supply Chain North America, highlights the importance of strong leadership in this area, as transportation is considered a key growth driver for the company. Ruff has over three decades of experience in the logistics industry and will lead the development and growth of DHL Supply Chain’s transportation business in North America in his new position.
Moss has been appointed Head of Real Estate Solutions for North America. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of DHL Supply Chain in Latin America. Given the challenges in warehouse availability and rising costs, Moss’s extensive leadership experience is seen as crucial to further strengthening the company’s real estate strategies. Kunar emphasizes that real estate is a key component of supply chain performance, and Moss’s deep understanding of the business makes him a suitable choice for this position.
