Garbe Industrial leases logistics space to Takko

Garbe Industrial has signed a lease agreement with Takko Fashion: The real estate company announced that it has leased nearly 60,000 square meters to the fashion company during the construction phase of its new logistics center in Salzgitter. Takko Fashion plans to organize the supply of its stores as well as the further development of its online business from this location, as stated by Garbe Industrial.

Leasing before completion

Luisa Elfendahl, Regional Manager Central of Project Development at Garbe Industrial, commented on the lease agreement and emphasized that the nearly complete leasing of the property before its completion is a positive sign for the implementation of the project. „Even in economically challenging times, it is worthwhile to invest in prospective buildings when the location is attractive and the property is of high quality,“ said Elfendahl.

Timo Esleben, Director Supply Chain & Logistics at Takko Fashion, explained that the company was looking for a contiguous hall space in the range of 50,000 to 60,000 square meters to expand and consolidate its logistics capacities. „The new building in Salzgitter meets our requirements exactly. It will play a crucial role in consistently implementing our growth strategy,“ Esleben added.
