This partnership pertains to the new daily route between Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). With the introduction of this route, Rome becomes the first destination in Europe served by Alaska Airlines.
Direct connection between Italy and the US Pacific region
The new route will be operated with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which has significant cargo capacity in the lower deck. This route establishes a direct connection between the Italian market and the US Pacific region. It is particularly important for the transport of high-quality Italian exports, including aerospace components, technologies, perishable goods, and pharmaceutical products.
To support the expansion, Alha Group will provide comprehensive cargo handling services at its 24/7 operational location at Fiumicino Airport. The partnership aims to ensure the efficiency and reliability of cargo handling, thereby meeting the needs of customers in both markets.
