On May 1, Robin van Veldhoven took over as Operations Manager at Broekman Project Services B.V. She succeeds Mark Berendsen, who led the company for many years. In a statement, the company thanked Berendsen for his commitment and support of the operations team.
Robin van Veldhoven brings over 15 years of experience in Broekman Logistics. During this time, she has closely observed the operations at the terminals and the associated challenges. She emphasizes that the company’s strategic focus in the market segments of Heavy Lifting, Breakbulk, and Battery Storage Systems will be strengthened by the acquisition of a new heavy lift crane. This investment aims to expand the service offering.
Focus on customer service and efficiency
Van Veldhoven highlights that the focus on providing the best solutions and services for customers remains unchanged. She states, „I will fully commit to building a safe and efficient terminal operation that our customers can rely on, together with the team.“ She is aware that she has much to learn but remains optimistic and looks forward to the new challenge, supported by an experienced team and mentors.
