Bericap, a leading company in the development, manufacturing, and supply of closures, has announced the acquisition of Embankment Plastics in Ireland. This expands the British company’s presence to 31 entities in 26 countries.
Embankment Plastics, founded in 1977 and located near Dublin, is a private company specializing in closures for the dairy, food, and technology sectors. The company has built a solid reputation for product quality, customer service, and reliable deliveries.
Strategic expansion in Ireland
The acquisition of Embankment Plastics represents a significant expansion for Bericap to further drive growth in the Irish market. Bericap plans to combine the existing product portfolio of plastic and aluminum closures for the beverage, food, spirits, and chemical industries with local capabilities. The goal is to develop the site into another high-quality Bericap facility that offers local services and expertise.
The future Bericap Ireland will operate as a subsidiary of Bericap UK to benefit from shared resources while maintaining local control. In the short term, the company will continue to operate under the name Embankment Plastics.
