According to the company, this event is considered one of the most significant platforms for the grain industry in Spain. At the 23rd edition of the meeting, organized by ACCOE, the Spanish Association for Grain and Oilseeds, representatives of the port presented their services for the agrifood and agrienergy sectors.
Logistical Services in Focus
Annually, the port processes around three million tons of agricultural and energy products, according to its data. A key component of this trade is soybeans, which account for about 30% of the total volume. In addition, oils, fats, animal feed, as well as grains and flour play an important role.
Among the companies providing specialized services for this type of cargo are Bergé Marítima, Bunge, Depósitos Portuarios – Deposa, Servicios Logísticos Portuarios (SLP), and Tepsa. Additionally, companies like SGS offer certification and analysis services that are significant for quality assurance in agriculture.
