Jun 15, 2022 at 5:23 PMGert Kautetzky has been elected as the new Chairman of the Board of TRANSFRIGOROUTE DEUTSCHLAND (TD) e.V., and Hubertus Kobernuß has been appointed as an honorary member and honorary chairman. The annual general meeting took place in early June 2022, held as an in-person event at KRAVAG insurance in Hamburg for the first time after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
(Frankfurt/Hamburg) The central point of the members’ meeting was the regular board election, where Gert Kautetzky was elected as the new chairman. Kautetzky succeeds long-time chairman Hubertus Kobernuß, who did not run for re-election after previously selling his business. In recognition of his exceptional and long-standing commitment, TRANSFRIGOROUTE DEUTSCHLAND honored Kobernuß by appointing him as an honorary member and honorary chairman.
Managing Director Roger Schwarz stated: “On behalf of the entire TRANSFRIGOROUTE, we thank Hubertus Kobernuß for 23 years of voluntary work on the board, of which he led TRANSFRIGOROUTE DEUTSCHLAND as chairman for 20 years, significantly shaping it. This is a unique anniversary in the history of TRANSFRIGOROUTE. Hubertus Kobernuß has successfully and energetically represented the interests of the companies organized in TRANSFRIGOROUTE DEUTSCHLAND and TRANSFRIGOROUTE INTERNATIONAL throughout these years.”
Other Board Members Confirmed Unanimously
All other previous board members were confirmed in their positions by unanimous vote: Josef Fendler/Fendler Klaus Transport, Jörg Hammelmann/Hammelmann Service GmbH & Co. KG, and Markus Kusmierz/NALOG Spedition GmbH & Co. KG. Newly elected was Bernd Hütter/Hütter Spedition + Logistik GmbH from Öhringen. Jörg Hammelmann/Hammelmann Service GmbH & Co. KG remains the deputy chairman of TD.
Traditionally, the chairman of the industry committee, Andreas Schmid/FRIGOBLOCK GmbH, and his deputy Frank Roevekamp/Schmitz Cargobull AG were confirmed as advisors to TRANSFRIGOROUTE, along with Frank Nordhoff/Fahrzeugwerk Bernard Krone GmbH & Co. KG. Newly elected to the advisory board was Henning Altebäumer/ECOOLTEC Grosskopf GmbH, who also serves as the deputy chairman of the Technical Committee (CCT) in TRANSFRIGOROUTE INTERNATIONAL.
The auditors Hubert Hörndl/Hubert Hörndl Transporte GmbH and Jürgen Pfeil/Pfeil Spedition und Logistik GmbH were also confirmed in their positions.
Lecture on Emission-Free Refrigerated Logistics
In the TRANSFRIGOROUTE industry committee, the technical part of the meeting, Andreas Schmid reported on current topics & activities regarding ATP, DIN, CEN, F-gases, and VECTO. Finally, Alexander Wolter from BPW presented a contribution on emission-free refrigerated logistics and the potential of electromobility in temperature-controlled transport.
Assessment of the Current Situation in Transport Logistics
In the TRANSFRIGOROUTE-FRIGOCLUB, an assessment of the current situation in transport logistics regarding risks, opportunities, and recommendations for operational alignment from the perspective of the industry insurer was provided by Dr. Jan Zeibig/R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG. Marcel Frings/SVG-Zentrale concluded by introducing the new “WEDOLO-Partnercheck,” a service for verifying the relevant documentation for transport logistics.
