Jun 10, 2026 at 1:31 PMGXO Logistics has signed a multi-year agreement with L’Oréal to support the cosmetics company’s logistics activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. According to a statement from GXO, this partnership is based on over 15 years of global collaboration between the two companies and aims to strengthen L’Oréal’s supply chain capabilities in Central Europe.
The agreement stipulates that GXO will build and operate a new logistics center covering approximately 20,000 square meters. This center is expected to employ around 80 staff and serve nine countries in the region. The location in Lavičky near Brno (Czech Republic) was chosen by GXO due to its strategic position close to customers, ensuring higher service quality and faster delivery times.
Focus on omnichannel distribution
The new logistics center will focus on omnichannel distribution, particularly for retail, while also supporting e-commerce operations. The center is scheduled to be operational by mid-2027. Additionally, the center will be developed according to the „BREEAM Excellent“ sustainability standards.
