International brands in the fashion and e-commerce sector are increasingly facing challenges due to rising order volumes, shortened delivery times, and omnichannel requirements, as reported by Arvato. To meet these demands in the Turkish market, the company has opened a new logistics location in Çayırova, Kocaeli, Turkey.
Location for logistics processes
The newly constructed logistics facility covers an area of 50,000 m² and has been specifically designed for the needs of fashion logistics. According to the company, the location offers scalable fulfillment capacities as well as integrated value-added services that are intended to enable brands to respond to seasonal demand peaks and changing consumer habits.
A key feature of the new location is, according to Arvato, the dedicated infrastructure for value-added services (VAS). This supports a variety of processes, including embroidery, textile printing, tunnel finishing, labeling, and packaging solutions. By combining these services with integrated returns management and quality control services, brands are expected to provide a consistent end-customer experience.
„With this investment, we are not only expanding our capacities but also creating an efficient logistics infrastructure that meets the demands of the fashion industry in terms of speed, flexibility, and quality.“
– Umur Özkal, Managing Director of Arvato Türkiye & UAE
