In this role, he will further strengthen the company’s global consulting efforts in the aviation sector. Goh brings over 30 years of international experience in the aviation industry, gained through various leadership positions, strategic alliances, and commercial transformations.
Adam Cowburn, Managing Director at Alton Aviation Consultancy, expressed his pleasure at the team’s expansion: „We are excited to welcome Jeffrey to Alton’s leadership team. His extensive experience and knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry will be of great benefit to our clients, especially in an increasingly competitive market.“
Goh himself emphasized Alton’s reputation, which is based on a combination of deep expertise in aviation and practical consulting. „I am excited to be part of a company that is navigating a time of significant change for airlines worldwide. I look forward to providing our clients with strategic advice while working alongside an excellent team of consultants,“ said Goh.
Prior to joining Alton, Goh served as Group Chief Executive Officer at Gulf Air Group and previously as CEO of the Star Alliance airline alliance, where he led a phase of strategic growth and digital transformation. At the Bahrain-based airline, he played a crucial role in realigning the network and transforming the customer experience. During his time at Star Alliance, he worked closely with the CEOs and leadership teams of member airlines to promote strategies for the network, alliance development, customer experience, and operational collaboration.
Previously, Goh held senior positions at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where he represented the interests of airlines and led industry engagements on issues such as policy, regulation, sustainability, and developments in aviation.
Goh’s appointment comes at a time when Alton is further expanding its capabilities and expertise to meet the growing demand from airlines operating in a complex operational environment while pursuing long-term growth.
