May 29, 2026 at 8:23 AMThe contract logistics provider ID Logistics Germany has developed the last available areas for its distribution business in the Mittelweserpark in Northern Germany, as the company reports. The new complex includes three halls with a total area of 35,000 m² and will be used for the fulfillment of large-volume and bulky goods in e-commerce. The commissioning is planned for the third quarter of 2026 and is expected to create 150 new jobs.
Expansion of capacities in the metropolitan region
With this expansion, ID Logistics strengthens its presence in the Hanover metropolitan region and achieves full occupancy of the Mittelweserpark. The logistics service provider has thus increased its capacities at this location to a total of 112,000 m². In the third quarter of 2024, ID Logistics already commissioned the first 17,000 m² for the fulfillment of drugstore and cosmetic products. In May 2025, an additional 60,000 m² will follow, which will be used for seasonal business.
Robin Otto, Managing Director of ID Logistics Germany, emphasizes that the logistics park was fully developed as a new distribution location within just two years. Furthermore, it has been possible to unite three different fulfillment businesses under one roof. These include products from the drugstore and cosmetics sectors, seasonal goods, and the special segment for large-volume and bulky goods.
