May 4, 2026 at 3:49 PMThe trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer has introduced a new vehicle model, the K.SLL P pendulum low-loader, specifically designed for heavy transport. The K.SLL P is characterized by high maneuverability and easy handling, making it suitable for transporting heavy and oversized goods.
Technical features and development
The pendulum low-loader was entirely designed in Kässbohrer’s own development centers and tested under real conditions on a company-owned test track in Europe for over 1 million kilometers. These tests covered various aspects such as structural strength, torsional rigidity, and driving stability. The K.SLL P is equipped with an independent pendulum axle suspension that allows a lift of 600 mm, as well as a hydraulic steering system designed for steering angles from 0 to 60 degrees. These features contribute to the vehicle’s high stability and performance under demanding conditions.
The construction of the pendulum low-loader allows for a permissible axle load of up to 12 tons per axle, which complies with legal requirements in Germany. Additionally, the vehicle offers a variety of tie-down points for load securing, including tie-down rings with different load capacities to ensure safety during transport.
Flexibility and handling
The K.SLL P is designed to maximize the utilization of the loading factor. With a longitudinal extension of up to 5,550 mm and a lateral widening, the vehicle can transport a variety of loads, such as construction machinery and industrial components. The loading height is only 350 mm, facilitating the transport of tall goods without additional measures.
For quick and ergonomic operation, the pendulum low-loader is equipped with a detachable goose neck that allows loading from the front. This can be removed in less than 50 seconds, reducing loading times and increasing efficiency.
Corrosion protection and durability
Another feature of the K.SLL P is the high-quality metallization that serves as corrosion protection. This has been validated in over 3,800 hours of salt spray testing without red rust formation, underscoring the vehicle’s durability.
Kässbohrer positions itself with the K.SLL P pendulum low-loader as a provider of vehicles that combine engineering excellence and practical application. The combination of robust construction, high maneuverability, and thoughtful safety features aims to meet the demands of heavy transport.
