May 4, 2026 at 10:11 AMAmazon has announced the launch of Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) to open its logistics network to businesses of all industries and sizes. These services allow companies to utilize the same logistics solutions developed for Amazon’s own retail operations, as the company recently stated.
Expansion of logistics offerings
According to Amazon’s announcement, ASCS includes a portfolio of freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping solutions. These services were originally designed for Amazon’s internal use and to support its partners. Over the past three years, numerous Amazon sellers have reportedly relied on the logistics network to transport and deliver millions of packages through external facilities and distribution channels. With the introduction of ASCS, this offering is now being extended to third-party providers operating in various industries, including healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, and retail.
Procter & Gamble is already using Amazon’s freight services to transport raw materials to production sites and ship finished goods within its distribution network. 3M employs the logistics solutions to move products to distribution centers worldwide. Lands’ End utilizes inventory within the Amazon network to process orders across various distribution channels. American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., on the other hand, uses Amazon’s parcel shipping network to deliver online orders directly to customers.
