Apr 23, 2026 at 10:21 AMRolande has opened a new public bio-LNG filling station in Wörth an der Isar. This station is located on the A92 motorway, which represents a significant transport axis in southern Germany, as the company reports. The filling station is intended to provide freight forwarders, fleet operators, and companies with their own logistics a way to reduce their CO2 emissions.
The opening of the filling station is part of Rolande’s efforts to promote the use of bio-LNG in heavy-duty transport. According to the company, the new station in Wörth an der Isar opens up important industrial and logistics areas. „With our new bio-LNG station directly on the A92, we create a valuable link in our network of nearly 200 bio-LNG stations in Germany,“ says Jolon van der Schuit, CEO of Rolande. He adds, „This strengthens and supports the industry in taking concrete steps towards truly sustainable transport.”
