Jun 10, 2026 at 2:51 PMAvAir has announced the opening of a new warehouse location in Grapevine, Texas. The new facility covers an area of 4,180 square meters and is located in close proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). This region is known for its significant presence in the aerospace industry and is one of the largest logistics hubs in North America. DFW Airport is considered one of the busiest cargo airports in the United States.
The new warehouse will enable AvAir to optimize the distribution of spare parts and ensure faster delivery across the country. This is particularly important as airlines need to quickly access spare parts to minimize aircraft downtime. AvAir serves 3,100 customers worldwide, and the new facility will support both U.S. and international clients.
Tyler Botthof, COO of AvAir, commented on the benefits of the new location: „Our customers rely on us to provide the right inventory solutions quickly and efficiently.“ The Dallas location complements the existing facilities in Chandler, Arizona, and Dublin, Ireland, creating a strategically located center that increases inventory availability and optimizes distribution to customers worldwide.
The new warehouse will not only house a team for inventory management but also a sales and support team consisting of both experienced staff and new employees. Brian Longmeyer, Vice President of Powerplants, will relocate to Dallas and take on the additional role of General Manager to oversee operations there and lead the sales team. Longmeyer brings over 30 years of industry experience and has been with AvAir since 2021.
In addition to the opening of the new location, AvAir has promoted Kevin Lenz to Executive Vice President for Powerplants. Lenz, who has been with AvAir since 2010, will continue to lead the company’s capabilities in Powerplants and support its global growth.
AvAir celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and continues to experience accelerated growth by acquiring new customers and building partnerships. The company offers tailored solutions for customers and suppliers to buy, sell, exchange, lease, rent, or consign more than 26 million aircraft parts. AvAir is certified to ISO 9001, AS9120, and ASA 100 standards and maintains the highest quality standards at all stages—from procurement to receiving, storage, sales, and shipping.
