Blue Yonder with the “2026 Supply Chain Compass: Spotlight on Sustainability”
Apr 22, 2026 at 3:44 PMUnited Cargo, the humanitarian aid organization Airlink Inc., and the non-profit organization Good360 have jointly transported relief supplies to Hawaii to support the victims of the severe Kona Low storms. These storms have caused significant damage on the islands of Maui and Oahu, forcing more than 10,000 people to flee their damaged or destroyed homes.
The coordination of the relief efforts began after the devastating weather events: On April 10, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from United Airlines departed from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) en route to Kahului Airport (OGG), as the companies reported. On board were numerous urgently needed relief supplies, including generators, wet wipes, and hygiene products donated to Good360. This shipment aims to provide immediate support to the affected communities and help protect them from the impacts of further storms. Ongoing adverse weather conditions continue to disrupt power supply, housing, and access to essential services on the affected islands.
