BNSF Logistics has appointed David Ivan as the new President and CEO. This decision takes effect immediately. Ivan brings over 25 years of experience in leading complex, cross-location operations in manufacturing, logistics, and global supply chains.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Ivan held various senior positions, including Chief Operating Officer at BNSF Logistics and at Vestas. In these roles, he was responsible for extensive transformations in billion-dollar companies. Ivan has built a reputation for his hands-on leadership style and data-driven approach, which has enabled significant improvements in operational performance, working capital, safety, and customer service. He achieved this through lean transformation, strategic planning, and organizational development.
Ivan holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
