BUILDINX in Dortmund: Trade Fair for Logistics Real Estate Before Premiere
Oct 18, 2024 at 8:07 PMThe CargoCity South at Frankfurt Airport is consistently focusing on further growth. The increasing freight volume highlights the importance of the location for maintaining global goods traffic. The next new construction of a cargo hall is intended to contribute to strengthening the air freight location in Frankfurt and positioning it even more sustainably within global transport chains, with a view to the Masterplan CargoHub.
(Frankfurt/Main) In consideration of future developments, Fraport AG had already planned new hall and office spaces for cargo handling during the airport expansion planning. This gradual development of space over a total of approximately 27 hectares has begun in recent years and is now set to be further advanced.
Completion is planned for 2028
Currently, Fraport is inviting bids for a cargo hall for lease. This is expected to be completed in 2028. A hall area of approximately 7,500 square meters is planned. The condition for leasing is the use for air freight handling or the sustainable generation of air freight by the leasing company. Thus, the new inquiry for rental interest is thematically linked to the conditions of past tenders as well as to the goal of transparent space allocation. The announcement ends on November 15, 2024.
