DoKaSch appoints Kersten Drummer as CCO
Jul 1, 2026 at 9:04 AMThe member companies of System Alliance Europe (SAE) reported an increase in their transport services in the past financial year, according to the association. According to Tassilo Schneider, the Chairman of the Board of SAE, 2025 was the most successful year in the history of the alliance since its founding. The number of deliveries rose to 3.5 million, representing an increase of 16.7 percent compared to 2024, when 3.0 million deliveries were recorded. The tonnage also increased by 10 percent to 1.1 million tons, up from 1.0 million tons in the previous year.
Growth through international markets
Schneider attributes the growth to the positive economic development in several European countries. In particular, Denmark, Portugal, and Spain are showing increasing demand in freight transport, which is directly reflected in shipping volumes. In contrast, according to Schneider, the economic weakness of Germany as an industrial location is increasingly noticeable in the logistics sector: “We are currently seeing significantly more momentum in other European countries.”
The alliance claims to be the largest groupage cooperation in Europe – with 54 member companies and 170 branches in 33 countries. These operate according to uniform quality and safety standards and utilize a centralized IT and data platform.
