System Alliance Europe increases transport services 2025
Jul 1, 2026 at 9:04 AMTrans Global Projects (TGP) has appointed Igor Muñiz as Chief Strategy Officer for Global Accounts and Southern Europe, while simultaneously opening a branch in Spain. These measures aim to strengthen the company’s presence in Southern Europe and support global activities in the energy-related project sector.
Muñiz brings over 25 years of experience in project logistics. In his new position, he will be responsible for global accounts and will lead activities in Southern Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. His focus will be on developing and implementing programs for key clients, particularly in the area of large-scale energy projects.
The new branch in Spain provides access to an active energy market and enhances connections with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders in Southern Europe. Additionally, it supports coordination in regions where clients manage projects concurrently.
Structured approach to global accounts
The appointment of a strategic leader and the expansion of regional presence promote a structured approach to global accounts. This allows for early involvement in project planning, clear responsibilities across different regions, and uniform standards in implementation.
For clients, this means closer support in the early phase, helping to minimize risks and avoid late changes. A central point of contact improves coordination between regions and simplifies communication. The local presence also ensures daily access to project stakeholders on-site.
Colin Charnock, Group Chief Executive Officer of Trans Global Projects, commented on Muñiz’s appointment:
“Igor brings extensive experience in project logistics and in supporting energy-related projects across various regions. He knows how to structure and implement complex programs with clear responsibilities. This strengthens our approach to global accounts and supports clients operating in multiple geographic markets.”
Muñiz himself emphasized the need for close coordination in cross-border energy projects:
“Many energy projects span multiple regions and require close collaboration from the outset. Clients need a clear structure and consistent implementation. TGP has the capability to support this, and I look forward to working with the team to strengthen our approach to global accounts and assist clients in various markets.”
