Kalé acquires Portel in Spain

Kalé Logistics Solutions has announced the acquisition of Portel Logistics Technologies, a provider of port community systems and regulatory compliance solutions based in Spain. This acquisition, which became official on June 24, 2026, aims to strengthen Kalé’s presence in Europe and expand support for customers in air and sea logistics, as stated by the company.

The integration of Portel into the Kalé group is expected to enable the combination of Kalé’s experience in community systems and trade facilitation with Portel’s expertise in regulation within the European Union. Kalé anticipates that the acquisition will enhance the company’s ability to assist customers in complying with changing customs and compliance requirements.

Expansion of the product portfolio

The products „Dedalo“ and „Vellore,“ which are part of Portel’s offering, will complement Kalé’s existing portfolio in the area of airport and port community systems. These solutions provide features for regulatory and customs compliance. Through the acquisition, Portel will gain access to Kalé’s logistics technology solutions, which is expected to create new opportunities for integration and service expansion for both Portel’s existing customers and those of Kalé. With over 350 customers in its network, Portel is set to benefit from Kalé’s resources to further expand its services.
