Jun 15, 2026 at 1:03 PMArgonaut Manufacturing Services and Ensera have established a strategic partnership to optimize the supply of drug-device combination products. This collaboration aims to reduce the complexity of production processes and shorten the time to market for combination products, as recently announced by Argonaut Manufacturing Services.
Integration of processes
The collaboration between Argonaut, a US-based company specializing in sterile filling and packaging, and Ensera, a CDMO with production facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia, is characterized by the linking of aseptic filling and packaging processes with device assembly and packaging services. According to the companies, this integration is intended to simplify supply chains and minimize operational risk.
Argonaut offers various services, including aseptic filling and packaging of vials, syringes, and cartridges. These processes take place in Annex-1 compliant isolator filling facilities and are complemented by analytical testing and stability studies. Ensera, on the other hand, brings expertise in the final assembly of drug delivery systems, including labeling, secondary packaging, kitting, serialization, sterilization management, and testing of vials and drug delivery systems.
