May 27, 2026 at 10:56 AMID Logistics has announced the acquisition of three new locations in the southeastern United States. The new facilities are located in Rome and Ellijay in Georgia, as well as in Greenwood in South Carolina. According to the company, these acquisitions aim to strengthen ID Logistics‘ presence in the region and support expertise in transforming existing logistics operations.
The new sites are designed to optimize supply chains for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). High-speed cross-docking operations are expected to improve the flow of products between production, distribution, and retail.
A key aspect of the acquisitions, according to ID Logistics, is the company’s growing focus on integrating existing business processes. An increasing number of customers from various industries are turning to the company to enhance service quality in their operations without disrupting ongoing business activities.
With the new locations, the number of cross-docking facilities operated by ID Logistics in the United States increases to a total of eight. These facilities are part of a comprehensive network of 56 locations covering a total area of over 1.86 million square meters. In the southeastern United States, ID Logistics now operates 18 locations with a total area of over 465,000 square meters.
