May 4, 2026 at 9:01 AMThe International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) has appointed Catherine Chow (left, alongside Victor Shieh, who is responsible for Network and Media Relations at IAPH) as the Regional Development Director for Mainland China, the two Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Taiwan. Chow brings extensive multicultural experience from global companies as well as from China’s state-owned enterprises. She runs her own public relations and marketing consultancy, specializing in supporting businesses in the shipping and supply chain sectors.
Throughout her career, Chow has held various senior positions. These include her role as Senior Consultant at China Merchants Port Holdings (CMPort) and as a partner representative and Chief Corporate Officer of Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT). She also served as General Manager of AAT Dongguan. Previously, she held key positions at Jardine Shipping Agency, Jardine Logistics Services, and Modern Terminals.
Chow is also involved in various professional committees. She was recently appointed as a committee member of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT HK) under the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILT HK). Additionally, she is an active member of the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) for the Qualifications Framework (QF) under the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
