Air Charter Service modernizes headquarters in London
Jun 24, 2026 at 7:20 AMSEGRO has signed a lease agreement for approximately 37,300 square meters of logistics space in SEGRO Park Dortmund with a logistics service provider in the healthcare sector. The new tenant is expected to move into Building C in October 2026. The completion of Halls A and C is scheduled for September 2026. This rental agreement underscores the development of SEGRO Park Dortmund as a central location for logistics services in North Rhine-Westphalia, as the company reports.
Strategic location and infrastructure
SEGRO Park Dortmund is being built on a 60-hectare site of a former coal-fired power plant. The location in the northwestern part of Dortmund, near the city border with Castrop-Rauxel, offers access to the transportation network. The Castrop-Rauxel-Ost motorway interchange (A42/A45) is just three minutes away. Upon full completion, the park will feature more than 200,000 square meters of hall space.
SEGRO places great emphasis on sustainability in the development of the park, according to its own statements. Measures include green roofs and photovoltaic systems with a total output of over 10 MW. Resource-efficient construction methods are also intended to reduce the CO₂ footprint. Additionally, the well-being of employees is to be promoted through the creation of recreational areas and lounges.
