Apr 15, 2026 at 12:31 PMThe IT service providers Neurored from Spain and CHAMP Cargosystems from Luxembourg have announced the next phase of their strategic partnership aimed at providing advanced digital solutions for the air freight industry. Following a successful collaboration in the area of electronic air waybills (eAWB), the two companies are now expanding their joint capabilities to support the IATA initiative ONE Record. This initiative aims to create a unified standard for data exchange in the air freight sector.
Digitalization of the air freight industry
The air freight industry is undergoing a digital transformation that rethinks the standardization and exchange of data to enhance operational efficiency and transparency. ONE Record, which has been designated as the preferred standard for data exchange since January 2026, aims to replace fragmented, outdated processes with a unified and efficient data ecosystem. Neurored and CHAMP have taken a step toward this reality by jointly optimizing the eAWB processes. This enables seamless electronic documentation and data exchange for forwarders, airlines, and logistics providers in accordance with the standards of ONE Record.
By integrating the 1Neo-Connect functionalities, a specialized solution from CHAMP for the implementation of ONE Record, stakeholders can access, share, and update shipping information in real time. This fosters better collaboration and visibility within the industry. The enhanced integration allows Neurored’s customers to utilize their existing eAWB workflows while simultaneously integrating the advanced features of ONE Record, ensuring maximum benefit with minimal operational disruptions.
1Neo-Connect provides secure, real-time access to critical shipping data, improving communication among global partners and reducing the risk of input errors. Furthermore, the solution is scalable and flexible, meets stringent industry security standards, and adapts to the evolving technological requirements of organizations of all sizes.
Strengthening collaboration
The ongoing partnership combines CHAMP’s extensive expertise in cargo management systems with Neurored’s strengths in cloud-based logistics solutions. Together, they offer a suite of tools that help customers manage the complexity of global supply chains, including the efficient implementation of ONE Record and digitalization.
Neurored CEO Ricardo Medem de la Torriente stated, „This next phase of our partnership with CHAMP brings practical benefits to customers by extending existing eAWB workflows with the functionalities of ONE Record. This helps forwarders, shippers, and carriers improve collaboration, efficiency, and real-time visibility with minimal operational disruptions.“
